Charles Hamilton

Charles Hamilton is an artist from Harlem, New York with a sound that reminds me of a Pharcyde type flow with a Lupe Fiasco type sensibility. He is cousins with Legendary artist MC Lyte and rolls in circles with Kanye West and The Game. On top of that some of the games greats have noticed this kid such as Eminem, Pharrell, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, DJ Quik, and even Lionel Richie. His debut single is called Brooklyn Girls but you can also check his SOB freestye against Serius Jones.

He's quoted as saying
“To me, it’s not fanaticism: I take it dead serious. People laugh like, ‘Yo that was a fun game,’ but to me it’s a philosophy I came up with over time. Hedgehogs bury themselves under the ground, and sonic means ‘sound.’ So I bury myself in the sound of music, because other than that I’d have nothing. André Lauren Benjamin, or as we know him, André 3000 is easily one of the best lyricists of our time without question. He is always known for his crazy fashion and is trying his hand at his own clothing line. It is the Benjamin Bixby Line. Heavily based on 30's type style of blazers and apparel as well as vintage boots and pants. To top it off, he adds a line of hats that make the outfit complete. You have to be really comfortable to wear these but it is possible if you have a creative side like him. This is GREAT for fashion. It was released Spring 2008 but is now gettign the recognition it deserves.

Juelz Santana, Rabb, and John Depp from the Skull Gang made a video for Don't Want You Back. Qaulity song. They changed the beat from the original mixtape though. Afro Samurai

I love Japanese anime because some of it is just good art. This right here is the truth. they even have a video game for it. Samuel L Jackson is the lead voice with others such as Lucy Liu. Also music from The RZA which is just disgusting. Things like this make me happy as hell. check out the trailer.

Good Week in Black History Kids

Wow...just wow. Today was Martin Luther King Day and if people had off, I hope you understand why you were lounging at the house on this snowy day. Thanks to Mr King and his Civil Rights efforts in this sometimes cruel and biased country, tommorow is also an epic day for history. Just wow, Barack is going to be the president. Just think, when's the last time we had a leader elected that made people want to dance in the streets and be unified for. Its been awhile. Teachers are even canceling class and all. Thats just amazing..

I read something that said calls out of work for African Americans went up this week( Haha we never cease to to celebrate huh?)

So Congrats to Barack, Michelle, Sasha, and Malia. This country is proud and hopes to see success as the first Black President. I'm just happy to see the tears of joy from the people that lived during the civil rights movement. Their joy is inspiring to a generation that had it easier.

However you celebrate tommorow, make it a day to be joyous, happy, but in control kids.(dont drink a fifth of henny and run around screaming OOOBBBBAMMMAAAA!!!! all day)
